About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with procurement managers and buyers to source the right products
2. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers, control manufacturing and delivery processes
3. Plan and implement logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met
4. Oversee product storage, handling, and distribution
5. Work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process, and analyzing performance
6. Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality
7. Ensure that you're aware of exactly what is happening throughout the supply chain and improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process
8. Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers
9. Manage and minimize the risks (for example, operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain
10. Consider the environmental impact of the supply chain in order to meet sustainability targets
11. Implement new technologies and stay alert to new trends and developments in the sector

Additional Information

The internship period is 3 months, for which the candidate will be paid INR 5000 as a fixed stipend per month. An experience letter will be provided after the successful completion of the internship, and a LOR/PPO will be provided based on the performance.
