About Nayi Disha Resource Centre
Nayi Disha Resource Centre is a platform that aims to provide information support to families of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We, at Nayi Disha, understand that every person with IDD has unique needs and therefore each child/person with IDD will have a need for different therapies or services (education, healthcare). We also recognize that every family faces a different set of questions and challenges at different life-stages of the child.
Nayi Disha is our attempt to address important information needs of parents of individuals with IDD through an information and resource portal and thus develop a digital ecosystem of all the stakeholders such as parents, therapists, doctors and schools. We hope that this will help build a much-needed support for families and also help individuals with IDD receive the best possible care and access the services they require, enabling them to reach their full potential.
