Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Deal promptly and professionally with customer email and telephone inquiries, at least half of which will be in Hindi and English
2. Work on customer service and operations executive
3. Guide and advise potential customers with the aim of converting to purchase
4. Ensure a satisfactory outcome for the customer and resolve issues fairly while maintaining a positive image in the customer's mind and adhering to corporate terms & conditions
5. Monitor the online shops for issues that might deter customers from buying and suggest then implement ways of combating these issues
6. Investigate payment issues and monitor all orders for fraud
7. Request refunds accurately in the systems
8. Liaise with the finance team in order to sort out any issues relating to refunds or returned items
9. Complete monthly reporting of customer service statistics, showing e-mail and order volumes
10. Work collaboratively with e-commerce operations manager (customer service) on usual or high impact cases
11. Produce templates that streamline processes and keep these updated
12. Ensure that shops are adequately stocked and this is reflected in the system
13. Manage assigned warehouse, overseeing invoicing processes and co-ordinating relevant training or stock management processes
14. Liaise as required with the online shop warehouses in order to resolve delivery issues and e-ticketing
