ConnectFor is looking to hire an Associate to oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization.ConnectFor (www.connectfor.org) is based out of Mumbai. We are a lean team of like-minded people who want to instill the spirit of volunteerism in society and create meaning and value for our stakeholders. In the 4 years that we have been operational in this space, we have a network of 20000+ volunteers and over 400 NGO partners on our platform. We are operational in all metro cities of India. Currently, this is a remote role, and the person will be expected to work from home with travel to be resumed once the lockdown has been lifted and the situation is better.

Roles and responsibilities:

The Operations and Marketing Associate will be responsible for all of the following

functions:

Managing the day-to-day operations which include -

• Volunteer management, including making connections via the phone and managing daily statistics.
• Using data to see volunteering trends and plan volunteer engagement strategies accordingly
• Generate reports relevant to the role in a timely manner
• Analyse requests from NGOs and sell opportunities to volunteers accordingly
• Regular updation and maintenance of databases
• Work with the Volunteer Team and the entire team to meet goals and targets

Along with:

• Creating and implementing projects and refining existing processes 
• Researching new projects that can be implemented by the organization as per needs
• Overseeing the marketing plans and strategies and assisting in designing a set number of collaterals.

Work Hours

The Associate will be expected to work at least 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday from 9 am - 5 pm (and then at least 5 flex hours),and any other day during events. Associates will receive 30 days of paid leave annually. Due to the current pandemic, this role is virtual and requires the associate to work from home. Laptop in a working condition and great internet connectivity is required for this role.

Skills Required-

• 2 years of prior experience 
• Experience with client/customer support 
• Well versed with Excel & Google sheets
• Proficient in designing software like Canva, Inshot or other design tools
• Excellent data analysis skills
•  Applicants must be self-motivated, and able to take initiative while working independently

Skills Preferred: 

• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and decision making skills.
• Adaptability and accountability.
• Knowledge of the current scenarios in the development sector
• Fluency in multiple languages
