Job Designation - OPEX Executive (Operation Excellence)

ReportingTo - General Manager(Operations)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Execution and Follow-up of ongoing improvement projects
• Monitoring Projects to attain defined Targets
• Summarizing projects progress outcomes and briefing to management as per defined schedule and timeline
• Aligning and Positioning of Processes with tools of Lean and Six Sigma
• Training of Staff for Statistical Tools and Techniques including Lean and Six Sigma
• Defining Projects and lead initiatives to improve safety, quality, cost, lead-time, inventory levels, reduce product/process variations
• Assist Management in Identifying areas of improvements in line with Organization goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Assist Management in Identifying Projects for Improvement.
• Degree in Engineering

• 3+ years of experience working in Manufacturing sector (Textile, Plastic, Polymer & Chemical)
• 2+ years of lean Kaizen, including VSM, TPM, SMED, 6Sigma etc.

• Formal Lean/CI Black Belt certification

• Adequate understanding of Quality Methodology and Reliability Engineering.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to Execute Projects within stretch time lines and dynamic environment

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office especially excel, word and power point
