Description

Oracle Apps DBA is required to support our development / stage and Production Oracle EBS and Core instances in 24*7 shift support model. The Oracle APPS DBA will be responsible for installation, configuration, upgrading, administrating, monitoring,
troubleshooting, cloning, Patching, Backup and restore of Oracle EBS. Would be responsible for reviewing application/databases, identify performance bottlenecks and fixing those.

Responsibilities

Ø The Oracle APPS DBA will be responsible for installation, configuration, upgrading, administrating, monitoring,
troubleshooting, cloning, Patching, Backup and restore of Oracle EBS. Would be responsible for reviewing application/databases, identify performance bottlenecks and fixing those.

Ø Good knowledge in Oracle database/E Business suite architecture and components.

Ø Experience in all routine DBA tasks including health checks, troubleshooting issues and installations.

Ø Good knowledge of PLSQL, and SQL

Ø Knowledge of traces, tkprof and find poorly performing SQL.sql, profiling, rewrite poorly performing SQL.

Ø Knowledge of Configurators, JVM’s, archiving and purging tools like HP Archiving

Ø Knowledge of oracle database wait events, Database and Application parameters

Ø Ability to fine tune the concurrent processing in large EBS environment.

Ø Good knowledge of OEM

Experience

Requirements

Ø Minimum 5 Years Oracle Experience

Ø Willingness to work in the 24*7 shifts.

Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ø Install and administer the EBusiness application and database.

Ø Experience in working with Oracle RAC and ASM

Ø Experience with Oracle data guard.

Ø Experience in Rman backup & restore activities

Ø Knowledge of OS parameters and settings, UNIX shell scripting,

Ø Performing (DB + Application) Patch Analysis & Applying Patches.

Ø Good Knowledge in Web Logic
