PETOO About us: We are a Foodtech startup focusing on Food science and Research in a bid to take Indian food global. We are a profitable company and are backed by eminent investors like Kris Gopalkrishnan and Shibulal (co-founders of Infosys). The company owns multiple patents in food research and is currently scaling through physical outlets and cloud kitchens. 

The startup, started by two graduates of IIT Kharagpur along with an alumni of Institute of Hotel Management (IHM),Bhubaneshwar. 

Petoo is founded by three friends. Ritesh and Kumar Setu - each having over 8 years of experience in running businesses related to Food and E-commerce industry and Abhishek Mandal, chef by education and alumnus of IHM. Petoo is about great food and great stories that are built around it. It is the vision of four foodies, whose love for food and years of working in the online food ordering marketplace, saw the need to bring Indian food closer to people. We won't however, bore you with the history lesson, but if you are a foodie, Petoo is the place for it. 

Petoo, a QSR of authentic Indian cuisine which has 100 to 150 employees is only 3-years old. During the start of the journey in 2015 we were having only 6 outlets in Bangalore. But right now, we are having a strong foot hold not only in Bangalore but also in Kanpur, Lucknow, Banaras Hyderabad & Mangalore with more than 20+ outlets. We are unique from the bunch of other Indian cuisine restaurants since we are providing dishes which hold the essence of whole India with particularly focusing on region based menu specialities.
