Staycure is looking for Pediatricians who provide medical treatment to children of all ages, from infants to adolescents.

Working independently or within a larger medical group, pediatricians diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries and promote overall well-being. 

In addition to diagnosis and treatment, pediatricians also perform routine checkups and examinations, provide immunizations according to medical or school guidelines, and refer patients to specialists to resolve issues outside the scope of their expertise

As a pediatrician, you would be responsible both for observing and treating growing children, as well as advising their parents and guardians on a course of action. A pediatrician's duties include, but are not limited to

·     Conduct Medical Examinations

·     Develop Diagnoses

·     Establish Treatment Plans

·     Provide Referrals to Specialists

·     Maintain Patient Records

·     Communicate with Patients and Parents

Required Skills

·      pediatricians need excellent medical examination and diagnosis skills and the ability to identify patient illnesses and injuries based on careful assessment of symptoms

·        provide direct support to patients by applying treatment to injuries and prescribing medication to resolve illnesses, so they should be highly skilled at deploying a variety of treatment methodologies

·        because they work closely with children and parents, pediatricians should have excellent bedside manner and feel comfortable discussing medical issues and options with families

·        this role requires a high level of attention to detail, as pediatricians need to assess many factors to arrive at a diagnosis and understand minute interactions that can have significant health effects

·        pediatricians also need a great deal of patience and empathy as they interact with children to make a diagnosis and provide treatment or speak with concerned parents about their children’s health

·        communication skills are vital in this role, as pediatricians need to communicate with patients, parents, and other medical providers to ensure successful treatment

Required Qualifications:

·        Qualifying to practice medicine for children is an arduous process and can take between 10-12 years.

·        Experience in the field and periodic verifications performed to ensure that every pediatrician offers quality services

·        Earn a bachelor's degree.

·        Apply to medical school.

·        Complete a residency in pediatrics.

·        Pursue a fellowship in a specialty (optional).

·        Obtain a license.

·        Get board certified (optional).
