Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Faculty member for our Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) course. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with Kubernetes and a passion for teaching and mentoring students. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction and guidance to students pursuing CK certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lectures and training sessions on Kubernetes topics in accordance with the CK certification curriculum.
• Design and implement course materials, labs, and assessments that prepare students for the CK certification exam.
• Stay up-to-date with Kubernetes updates and industry trends to ensure course relevance.
• Provide personalized support and mentorship to students to help them achieve their certification goals.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the course by incorporating new teaching methods and resources.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Participate in faculty meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with Kubernetes in a professional setting.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or related certification required.
• Previous teaching or training experience, preferably in a classroom or online setting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Availability to work part-time hours, which may include evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Kubernetes certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) are a plus.
• Experience developing online course content and utilizing learning management systems.
• Familiarity with other container orchestration platforms and related technologies.
