The Customer Remediation Team Business Analyst is responsible for researching customer facing issues, identifying the fix and in many cases the subsequent financial remediation required to make the customer whole. The business analyst is also responsible for writing requirements, providing root cause analysis and preventative measures within incident and or problem tickets. This individual will be responsible for all the research associated with the ticket, and all documentation is complete.
What will you be doing?
- Actively manage a caseload of 100+ cases while maintaining departmental production, quality, and aging standards.
- Adhere to monthly productivity metrics.
- Research and resolve Balance Transfer, Payment and CBR inquiries.
- Research rejected transactions and post cardholder adjustments via TSYS TS2.
- Process payment returns.
- Keep customer informed of status of inquiry and next steps.
- Receives significant guidance from policy and procedure.
- Can exercise some judgment in carrying out routine assignments with guidelines.
- Receives specific instructions on unusual situations or matters that depart from established procedures.
- Knowledge of credit card processing.
- Strong analytical and decision making skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as a part of a cross functional team.
- Ability to handle a variety of functions and to meet daily deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- PC skills including use of MS Excel and MS Word.
- relevant bank operations experience specializing in any of the following: settlement, reconcilement, check research and investigations / adjustments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a resource for policy, procedure, and human resources questions/issues..
