ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Payroll Manager will oversee and supervise the organizations payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with statutes, Companies of 1000+ Staff Size.

Responsibilities

·         Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.

·         Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, attritions, terminations, amendments to min wages, loan and other deductions etc.

·         Maintains MIS & reports of payroll transactions for defined periods and shares MIS updates periodically along with diligence reporting and variance studies

·         Ensures compliance with Central and State laws and rules related to payroll, labour laws related to wages, related benefits such as ESI, PF, Bonus, Gratuity etc and maintains records

·         Coordinates for periodic internal and external audits for diligence and standards as per SLAs

·         Front ends the identification recommendation and implementation of updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.

·         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software (Knowledge of PowerBi, Python, SQL based workouts is an added advantage)

·         Working proficiency with reputed / popular Payroll software programs (Workday/Darwinbox/Peoplestrong/Successfactors/Oracle DB)
