PCB Designer (L4) for Electronics       

Job role: Altium PCB design engineer for Automotive    

Relevant Experience: 4 - 8 years          

Educational Qualifications:

B. E. / B. Tech/ Diploma in Electronics, having thorough knowledge in PCB design for multi-layer boards as well as hands on experience on prototype build and testing in automotive industry.          

Job Responsibilities:

Complete ownership of PCB design for high power (up to 10kW) and high frequency applications           

·         Schematic capture in Altium environment           

·         Component library preparation and management for all projects 

·         Review the PCB designs and packaging during Design Reviews (DR's) effectively          

·         Experience in Heat sink design considerations   

·         PCB layout design for automotive EMC requirements    

·         PCB Fabrication, Assembly, Gerber, DRC file generation and work closely with PCB manufacturer for smooth PCB assembly         

·         2D and 3D drawing preparation and release for smooth PCB assembly  

·         PCB trouble shooting at component and system level    

Competencies Technical / Functional: 

·         Proficient in Altium PCB designer          

·         Thorough Expertize in design for EMI/EMC, high power density PCB's   

·         Thorough in basic theories and design concepts in electronics PCB design        

·         Knowledge about automotive industry standards and regulations for PCB design           

·         Awareness on circuit simulations           

·         Awareness on PCB manufacturing life cycle      

·         Hands-on experience on prototype testing using DSO, FG, Current probes and differential probes          

Behavioural:

Specific Expertise:      

·         Experience in Alitum PCB design, Allegro PCB design   

·         Experience in Schematic Capture using Altium and Cadence PSPice      

·         PCB Design knowledge/guideline to avoid cross-talk and issues of EMC
