We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will specialize in assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders in children.
Responsibilities:
*Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
*Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each child's specific needs.
*Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities in a child-friendly and engaging manner.
*Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and progress monitoring.
*Utilize a variety of therapy techniques and materials to facilitate language development and improve communication skills.
*Educate parents and caregivers on strategies and activities to enhance speech and language development at home.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
*Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in pediatric speech language pathology.
Qualifications:
*Master's / Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
*Valid state license or certification in Speech Language Pathology.
*Clinical experience in assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
*Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate therapy techniques.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with children and their families.
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
*Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
*Proficiency in using assessment tools and therapeutic activities for children.
*Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines pertaining to pediatric speech language pathology.
