role shall be to support the Pega projects by creating a technical solution design and by leading the projects with the goal to align the architecture in complex Pega projects. He/ she shall be in close contact to our business/ customers and to the SHS IT internal teams like the infrastructure team, the SAP team, etc. Task and Responsibilities His/ her tasks can be divided into the following activities and responsibilities: Consulting: - Drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, UAT and production deployment - Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional requirements - Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to Product Engineering - Identify project technical risks - Provide support and technical governance focused on one or more projects at a single client - Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization and pro-actively respond to adhoc questions from the business Architecture, Design and Development: - Controlling the technical and architectural orientation of the PEGA development team while guarantying repeatable, efficient and maximum reusable implementations - Abstraction of complex topic and preparation to present on architectural decisions for common business and IT - Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the Pega Architecture and all Pega design and implementation features - Demonstrate a solid understanding of reuse and portability in terms of enterprise solutions seeking to determine and develop repeatable, efficient and optimal ways of implementing Pega Leadership: - Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why”, and articulate several options, the pro’s and con’s for each, and a recommendation - Provide leadership to fellow team members and the client across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements - Demonstrate forward thinking around where the business is going and how technology can support these efforts - Demonstrate mindfulness of when to integrate with other products versus using Pega for end to end solution and present the best architecture to meet desired needs - Supporting us by translating visions into applicable and effective IT systems Mentoring: - Working together with Product Owners, acting as coach and mentor to all team members on their assigned project tasks - Managing the implementation of requested demands and assuring their quality following known best practices Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills - 7 years of progressively responsible experience or Masters with 4 years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions - Profound theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the use of Pega Platform and its possible applications - Pega Lead System Architect Certifications - Already implemented reusable software components and thus worked with Pega Layer Cake before - Experience in documenting Pega Standards and Guardrails - Experience leading in Agile and Scrum methodologies - Expertise in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process based applications - Expertise in a variety of technologies including, but not limited to, WebSphere or Weblogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java),.Net, Oracle, DB2, and MS/SQL - Excellent articulations skills and ability to address different audiences - Fluent in English - Ability to work in/with multicultural teams e.g. including members from Germany or America Organization: Siemens Healthineers Company: Siemens Healthcare Private Limited Experience Level: Experienced Professional Job Type: Full-time
