Job Description
Performance Engineer
Base Location: Both Gurgaon and Noida
Experience: 1.5+ Years
Salary: As per the industry standards
Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain a scalable, portable, configurable performance testing framework using open-source tools such as Jmeter
- Front and back end testing, including performance, load, concurrent user and stress testing
- Publish performance and stress tests results
- Evaluate system performance and establish baselines
- Analyze scalability, throughput and load testing metrics against test servers
- Compare and contrast system performance with varying levels of physical resources (RAM, CPU cores, Disk caches, Network) and compute nodes
- Execute performance optimization experiments and recommend short and long term plans
- Measure and report response time guidelines/SLAs
Requirements:
- 1.5+ years of experience in load/performance testing QAT
- Ability to code basic load test scripts
- Test automation experience (using Selenium/Puppeteer or similar tools)
- Experience building performance benchmarks and workloads, performance analysis, and tuning
- An understanding of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS as well as web protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, and DNS
- Work experience with different industry standard performance tools
- Professional verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Excellent and effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks
- Should be able to work independently with minimum guidance
