Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

12+ years of hands-on experience in quality Engineering, with a focus on performance testing.
●
Strong hands on experience in developing nonfunctional performance test strategies, finalizing the scenarios, preparing effort estimations, and designing performance test plans and test scripts independently.
●
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and frameworks such as Jmeter/LoadRunner/Blazemeter/Gatling/Akamai or similar tools.
●
Experience with performance monitoring & profiling tools such as New Relic/AppDynamics/Dynatrace/Data dog.
●
Should have experience in analyzing monitoring tools reporting and leverage client-side monitoring tools as well
●
Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing specific to cloud
●
Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, databases, and distributed systems architecture
●
Experience with performance profiling and tuning techniques to identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks.
●
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
●
Support for infra capacity planning through performance benchmarking
●
Should have integrated the performance test suites in the CICD pipeline
●
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
●
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
●
Proficiency in documenting and sharing test metric reports with the team and project management.
●
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively escalate issues and manage escalations.
●
Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and meet delivery deadlines.
●
ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications are desirable but not required.
●
Knowledge in programming languages such as Java or Python, or C#, with understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
●
Experience in leading performance testing initiatives and mentoring junior team members is highly desirable
●
Should be able to define required test environment for performance testing
●
Ability to scale up in functional test automation as a cross skilled SDET
●
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; highly synergetic working style, strong interpersonal capabilities and relationship building; confirmed ability to lead diverse client and partner relationships, and to collaborate efficiently with customers and colleagues
