Job Description

P.A

  • Manage diaries including meetings, conferences and video conferences
  • Co-ordinate internal and external meetings with business partners and clients
  • Assist with the preparation of meeting materials and other documents
  • Enter contact information in the CRM system
  • Work closely with other teams and internal departments on project work

Secretory

  • Liaising with officials, press office, parliamentary branch and others to ensure that the minister has good quality information in advance of meetings, visits, speeches and parliamentary business.
  • Providing clear, accurate and timely advice and relaying the minister’s decisions to the department.
  • Analysing submissions, correspondence, briefing and other papers, and preparing them for the minister's attention.
  • Assisting and supporting the minister at meetings, external visits and events.
  • Monitoring progress, exploring problems and negotiating solutions to make sure the minister's priorities are effectively delivered.
  • Assisting your designated minister in their parliamentary business.
