Responsibilities

As a personal fitness trainer, you'll need to:
Evaluate clients' current fitness level, and create personalized fitness programs, tailored to the needs and attainable goals of the client.
Track progress of the individual programs and improvise as needed.
Give alternative exercises during workouts or classes for different levels of fitness.
Demonstrate on how to carry out various exercises including cardiovascular exercise (exercises for the heart and blood system),strength training, stretching, muscle conditioning and routines.
Monitor clients do exercises and show or tell them correct techniques to minimize injury and improve fitness.
Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations on sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment.
Give clients information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues.
Motivate individuals in an encouraging and uplifting way towards improving their overall fitness and health.
Maintain personal integrity, client confidentiality and professional standards for best practice.
Continuous learning, personal growth and development with regard to personal health, fitness and mental capacity.
Promote schemes or offers provided by the company.
Share in advance your availability for the week with to the company, and notify immediately of any emergencies.
Give emergency first aid if needed.
Fitness Trainer Requirements and Qualifications
Personal training or group training Certification.
First Aid Certification
Ability to perform exercises and movements as demonstrations for client.
Excellent communication skills.
Interpersonal skills to establish a rapport with patients and their families.
Compassionate and sensitive to clients’ needs and concerns.
A genuine concern for the wellbeing and health of patients.
