Functional Area: Web Development AAPNA is looking for a PHP Web developer who has experience as a Web Developer with an up-to-date knowledge to interpret the company requirements and to develop solutions.

Job Description :

- Design, implement and support highly scalable applications and web services using Open source technologies

- Lead project estimations, system architecture and performance engineering of projects

- Work with the development manager to define deliveries and work within the schedule- Support the team with guidance, experience, oversight, advice and code reviews

- Work with the quality assurance team to ensure that the application is fully unit tested, can be performance-tested, and passes quality requirements

Desired Candidate Profile :

Minimum 8-10 years-

experience in designing and developing applications on PHP platforms

Laravel, Symfony, Codeigniter, CakePHP.

Experience in CMS platforms Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal would be an added advantage.

Extensive experience in REST API development will be given preference.

Top-notch development skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript.

A good understanding of the MVC design pattern is desirable.

A candidate with a good understanding of the Agile development process will be preferred.

Experience with any Project Management tool like Jira can be an added advantage.

Proficient understanding of code versioning system(TFS/SVN/Git).

Must possess very good logical, analytical, and communication skills.

Must be currently working as a senior member of a technical team.

Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.

Provide technical leadership to teammates.

Collaborate with other developers, business analysts and application architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-based business applications built on open source technologies.

Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.

Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

Willingness to do what it takes to complete the work.

Ability to multitask with strict time constraints, budgets, and business goals.

Strong WordPress experience would be an added advantage.
