Job Description

Desired Candidate Profile

Understanding the specifications for modules to be developed for any enterprise business application software project.
Decide on the overall strategy for developing the solution and get go ahead from the team lead after a review of the same.
Preparing detailed design documents for each assignment.
Assist QA team in preparing test plans for unit test.
Write well documented and maintainable codes for the scripts.
Participate in peer reviews of the code written and take corrective measures based on the suggestions received from the reviewers.
Carry out maintenance and enhancement works for the modules / relevant programme or script as and when necessary.
Coordinate with the concerned team leads during delivery.
Participate in the learning initiatives for developing grasp on new software development techniques, development tools and technologies.

Education : B.Tech/B.E/MCA

Preferably a quality conscious person with a keen interest in software technologies and who wants to work on enterprise systems. Someone who would thrive on challenges which one comes across when designing and developing best of class software using trending technologies.
Should be technically sound with relevant experience of web based Business Application Development using Custom / Core PHP.
Experience of developing applications on other platforms like Python, Ruby on Rails, Google Go or Java would be given due credit.
Knowledge of at least one PHP MVC framework like Laravel or Zend is desired, though not mandatory.
Exposure to Angular or Node.js would be a plus.
Command over object oriented development methodology and good knowledge of writing SQL queries for accessing enterprise database is desired.
Should be able to follow and also prepare detailed software design documents.
Ability to follow specified coding standards, write clean, maintainable code in order to develop robust, bug free software is necessary.
Knowledge of application security and how to develop secured web based applications desired.
Expected to be innovative and to have keen interest in learning about and trying out new software technologies to ensure incorporation of cutting edge features in the state of the art software products under development.
