Specific responsibilities include:

• Picking:

  Locating and retrieving items from shelves or storage locations based on order information, often using scanners or other technology. 

• Packing:

  Securing items in appropriate packaging, such as boxes or containers, ensuring they are protected during transit. 

• Inventory Management:

  Maintaining accurate records of items picked and packed, often using warehouse management systems. 

• Quality Control:

  Inspecting items for damage or defects before packing and ensuring the correct items and quantities are included in each order. 

• Order Fulfillment:

  Ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, meeting customer expectations and timelines. 

• Safety Compliance:

  Following all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. 

• Other duties:

  May include labeling packages, loading items onto pallets or into shipping containers, and keeping the work area clean and organized.
