The Placement executive will be responsible for sourcing placement opportunities for the youth and managing employer relations. S/he will play a pivotal role in creating pathways to economic empowerment by connecting the youths with relevant and sustainable job opportunities.
Your role to supplement the Organisational goals:
● Job Matching and Development: Evaluate youth skills, strengths, and goals, and match them with suitable job opportunities in collaboration with local employers and organizations.
● Work with employers to identify and create job openings that align with the skill sets of our youth.
● Help the youth in identifying the right opportunities that match their career interests.
● Facilitate access to support services such as transportation assistance, interview attire, and other resources that can enhance youth employability.
● Building a rapport with the employers and team up to generate employment opportunities
● Lining up candidates to the companies for interviews.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student profiles, job placements, and outcomes, generating reports for evaluation and improvement. Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
● Assist and support the reporting manager in any other tasks assigned. Who we are looking for:
● Education: Any Graduate/Post Graduate in social work, human resources, education, business, or a related field.
● Experience: 1-2 of experience in job placement, human resources, or related roles, preferably in working with underserved populations.
● Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, outlook Excel) and Google docs.
● Should have a strong coordination, follow up and be good at working in a team
● Excellent communication & written skills. Proficiency in English Language is required.
● Presentable and confident along with good people skills or people's personality.
● Strong in coordination with students in obtaining placements in companies and Building good relationship with youth as well
● Ability to meet deadlines and follow guidelines.
● Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds.
