Job Description: Plant Head

Location: Ghaziabad, India

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Plant Head to lead our manufacturing operations at NeoClo Energy. The Plant Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality assurance, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in energy storage systems (ESS) and a strong background in lithium-ion battery manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the plant operations team to achieve production targets, quality standards, and operational excellence.

Develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the plant in alignment with company objectives and market demands.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental regulations in all plant operations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of plant activities.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to support production needs and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to plant staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional development.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in energy storage systems and lithium-ion battery manufacturing.

Prepare regular reports and presentations on plant performance, operational KPIs, and strategic initiatives for senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in plant management, preferably in the energy storage or lithium-ion battery industry.
Recent experience in energy storage systems (ESS) and a strong understanding of lithium-ion battery technology.
Proven track record of successfully leading plant operations, optimizing manufacturing processes, and achieving operational excellence.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems.
