As a Podcast Operations Intern, you will play a pivotal role in the operational aspects of producing, publishing and promoting The Abstract. This is an excellent opportunity for recently graduated students who are passionate about marketing, content, and podcasts and are eager to kickstart their careers in B2B content marketing.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in the end-to-end production process of the podcast episodes
2. Coordinate with guests, freelancers, and cross-functional teams like design and events, and ensure smooth logistics
3. Support the editing and post-production process
4. Publish episodes across various platforms and ensure they reach our target audience
5. Collaborate with the rest of the content team to produce video clips for social media, refine promotional content, and brainstorm ideas and strategies
6. Engage in promotional activities, including social media marketing, email campaigns, and more
7. Monitor podcast analytics and provide insights for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree or work experience in a related field
2. A genuine passion for content and podcasts
3. Basic understanding (or a strong ambition to learn) of content marketing
4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills
5. Proficiency in using podcasting tools and software is a plus, but not a requirement
6. Proficiency in video editing tools and software is a plus, but not a requirement
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
