1. Post name: Post Doctoral Fellow
2. Essential Qualification: PhD in Geology/Earth Science or related fields
3. Job Description:
i. The post-doctoral fellow is expected to identify, design and conduct field work in NW Himalayas (Ladakh) and NE India for initial screening and identification of geothermal reservoirs and their potential.
ii. A few areas of interest will be identified by the candidate where detailed studies will be carried out including thermal mapping, possible hyperspectral imaging, as well as collection of traditional geological datasets.
iii. The outcrops will be used as analogues for their subsurface counterparts, thus, regional geological-reconstructions (and/or their review),and stratigraphic forward modeling in case of carbonate depositional systems is expected to be carried out.
