Job Description

Applications are invited for the temporary post of Post-Doctoral Researcher for the project titled “Quantum Information, Communication and Computing” in the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras.

1. Name of the Post: Post-Doctoral Researcher

2. Duration: Twelve (12) months (likely to be further extended based on performance)

3. Qualification: PhD in Physics or Engineering Knowledge in Quantum Information is mandatory

4. Pay: Rs. 35,000/- p.m. to Rs. 1,50,000/- p.m.

5. Job Description: To work as researcher in domains like Metro Area Quantum Network (MAQAN),Photonic Quantum Ising Machine and Quantum Key Distribution. The selected candidates will have the unique opportunity to coordinate with experienced researchers in experimental and theoretical quantum information and computing.

6. Requirements: Experimental Quantum Information and Computation preferably in the field of quantum optics
