Job Description

Applications are invited for the position of “Postdoctoral Fellow” in Materials Engineering at IIT

Gandhinagar to work on a project sponsored by SERB, India.

Project title: Slippery properties of liquid impregnated micro-cavities

Eligibility: Ph.D. in Chemical engineering/Materials science/Fluid Mechanics/Chemistry/Micro-

engineering/Environmental engineering or allied fields from reputed universities with excellent

publication record is required. Candidates who have submitted their thesis are also eligible.

Applicants must have research specialization in colloidal processing and wetting phenomena. The

candidate must be a critical thinker, self-driven and passionate and must be able to

independently lead the project. Good communication skills both in scientific writing as well as in

presentations are highly desirable.
