Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) invites application for the position Postdoctoral Fellow

Job Description: The candidate will work on modeling and simulation of emerging two-dimensional materials heterostructure-based memory devices. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with the atomistic simulation approaches which may consist of both ab-initio and quantum-transport calculations. The candidate should be able to work independently. Good communication skills, both in scientific writing and presentations are highly desirable.

Eligibility: PhD in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor devices, Computational Nanoelectronics, Physics, Material Sciences, or allied subjects from reputed institute with good scientific publication record. Experience in simulation of nanoscale devices and ab-initio (DFT) calculations. Candidates who have submitted their thesis are equally eligible for the position.

Duration: The initial appointment is for 1 year and may be extended up to 1 more year based on the performance.

Remuneration: 50,000 INR per month plus 10,000 INR HRA
