Job Description

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Indian Philosophy

Responsibilities:Teach one course in each of the two semesters
Pursue their research projects
Participate in Institution building activities

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in any field related to the broad area of Indian Philosophy.

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar invites rolling applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in Indian philosophy. The appointment period is for one year with a possibility of extension after a successful review. Candidates must have world-class research potential and an aptitude for teaching. By the time of appointment, applicants must have a Ph.D. in any field related to the broad area of Indian Philosophy.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will teach one course in each of the two semesters, one of which should be an introductory level course on Indian philosophy. Postdoctoral Fellow should also pursue their research projects and participate in Institution building activities.

Compensation includes an annual fellowship of 10,00,000 INR and campus accommodation.
