Job Description

Applications are invited through e-mail for the appointment of Project assistant in the School of Chemical Sciences, IACS by Aug 5, 2021.

1.Name of the post : Postdoctoral RA Physics

2.Number of post : One

3.Research Area : Quantum chemistry programming and application

4. Essential Qualifications (with specialization) : M. Sc. (Physics or Chemistry) and PhD (Physical Chemistry/Chemistry/Theoretical Chemistry).

5. Skill sets (desired) : Experience in computational/theoretical lab. Experience in modelling and simulation of complex systems. Programming in FORTRAN/C/C++; Strong aptitude in mathematics; good background in numerical methods; good communications skills and aptitude to learn new concepts in HPC and parallel architectures.

6.Remuneration: Rs. 49,000/- per month with HRA (as per rule).

7. Tenure of Fellowship : 1 year from the date of joining.
