Job Description – O&M Technician (Smart Meter Maintenance)

Qualification: ITI / Diploma (Electrical / Electronics)

Experience: 6 Months – 4 Years

Industry: Power Sector / Smart Metering

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot smart meters.

• Handle meter-related faults and technical issues at customer sites.

• Perform regular inspection and preventive maintenance of smart meters.

• Identify and resolve communication and connectivity issues.

• Attend consumer complaints and ensure timely fault resolution.

• Maintain service reports and daily maintenance records.

• Coordinate with the team for smooth O&M operations.

• Follow safety guidelines and quality standards.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and smart metering.

• Experience in power distribution or smart meter maintenance preferred.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to work in the field.

Preferred Candidates: ITI / Diploma holders with experience in the Power Sector, Electrical Maintenance or Smart Metering.
