Install, replace, and commission smart meters (single-phase and three-phase) for residential, commercial, and industrial customers
Configure smart meters, communication modules (RF, PLC, GSM/GPRS, LTE, NB-IoT), and associated devices
Perform meter testing, calibration, and validation to ensure accuracy and compliance
Troubleshoot smart meter faults, communication issues, and power quality problems
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on smart meters and related power equipment
Verify wiring, CT/PT connections, polarity, and load balancing
Ensure proper sealing, anti-tamper features, and security measures are applied
Use handheld devices, mobile apps, or laptops to program and download meter data
Coordinate with utility control centers, AMI/MDMS teams, and field supervisors
Maintain accurate installation records, test results, and service reports
Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards, utility procedures, and regulatory requirements
Respond to customer queries related to smart meter installation and basic operation
Diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Power Engineering, or a related field
Experience in smart meter installation, metering systems, or power distribution networks
Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase metering systems
