MI Technician Job Opening in INTELLISMART INFRASTRUCTURE PRIVATE LIMITED at Patna

Key Responsibilities

• Install, replace and commission smart electricity meters at residential and commercial consumer premises.

• Perform installation of single-phase and three-phase smart meters as per company and DISCOM guidelines.

• Carry out meter wiring, service cable connections and basic electrical troubleshooting.

• Install and maintain DT meters, SMC boxes, CT connections and related metering equipment, wherever applicable.

• Test the meter and ensure proper functioning and communication after installation.

• Update meter installation details, consumer information and meter photographs through the company mobile application.

• Prepare and maintain installation records/MRN and other required documentation.

• Identify and troubleshoot basic meter, wiring and communication-related issues.

• Visit customer premises for smart meter O&M, replacement and complaint resolution.

• Coordinate with IntelliSmart supervisors, DISCOM teams and consumers during installation and maintenance activities.

• Explain the basic functionality and benefits of smart meters to consumers.

• Collect and reconcile meter/materials as per company process.

• Follow all electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements and company guidelines.

• Complete assigned daily installation/maintenance targets and submit daily field reports.
