Job Summary
Designation: Preschool Teacher
Key Responsibility Areas :

• Planning activities based on a child’s interest.
• Ensuring the health, safety and well being of the children.
• Developing a child’s curiosity and knowledge.
• Abiding by all local regulations as well as safety protocols.
• Developing a well-managed, child-oriented learning curriculum.
• Motivating and stimulating children’s learning abilities.
• Building relationships with parents.
• Updating the classroom bulletin boards with children’s artwork.
• Completing all required paperwork.
• Preparing and arranging pre-class materials.
• Maintaining pupil attendance records.
• Keep records of the students’ progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child’s development
• Maintaining in good order the appearance, and décor of the classroom.
• Participating in school events.
• Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips.
• Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems, and discuss them with supervisors, parents or guardians, and child development specialists.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Exposure to Early Child Education is a big plus, patience, communication skills, well-developed imagination, creativity, ability to create a loving and warm atmosphere for learning.
Qualification
Graduate from any stream with Diploma in ECCED
