Principal Role
Senior Financial Accountant to handle core GL accounting, preparation of schedules, month close and audits. Work with multiple stakeholders and meet times lines and quality of delivery meeting to the set standard.
Ideal Candidates Should Meet These Criteria
- Prior manufacturing industry experience in a multinational company is preferred
- Semiconductor industry knowledge is a plus.
- Possess intermediate to advance level of accounting skills
- Worked in General Ledger - GL monthly closing activities of a global company in accordance with the close calendar.
- Familiar with close process in an ERP environment â preferably Oracle R12, including managing the GL close schedules, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and ensuring accurate accounting entries are posted
- Work level understanding of effective internal controls and SOX or ADAA compliance experience is advantageous
- Show good communication skills, speak fluently and is easily understood in an international environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work across borders, cutting through different work cultures.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and transactional flow
- Accounting for journals in the ERP based on the predefined templates
- Accounting for journals in the ERP for adhoc requirements
- Sound knowledge of intercompany accounting flow
- Accounting for intercompany transactions & working with counterpart
- Analysis of data when posting journals and variance analysis
- Accounting for cost plus transactions and raising invoices for the same
- Experience in working on cash flow statements and working capital forecasts
- Knowledge of P2P and O2C transactional and accounting cycles including accruals
- Work with tax team on accounting for taxes
- Variance and analysis and support for balance sheet reviews
- Working with AP team on releasing adhoc payments
- Experience in bank reconciliation and accounting for entries to clear open items
- Experience in preparation of schedules for audit and management reviews
- Analytical skills in variance analysis and providing explanations for variances
- Working with multiple stakeholders for collation of information for preparation of schedules and providing variance analysis
- Adaptable to the accounting flows relating to the schedules prepared
Education
Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance or Equivalent Professional Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in GL overall 5-8 years
Hands on working experience in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
Hands on experience in working on ERPs. Preferably Oracle
Experience in handling reports from ERP and using the data for management reporting & past Experience in HFM will be good to have
Experience In Using Intercompany Accounting Tools Like AGIS
Experience in working on reconciliation tools like Black line or ARCS
