Qualification  :   1. Educational Qualifications, Pay Scales and Service Conditions will be as per the prevalent rules prescribed by UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and measures for the maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2010),Government of Maharashtra (Government Resolution No. Sankirna2011/(25/11) vishi-1 dated 15.02.2011) and University of Mumbai, subject to further amendments and clarification issued by these bodies from time to time. 2. A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed by a recognized University. 3. A Ph.D. Degree in concerned / allied / relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance. 4. Associate Professor / Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of Teaching / research / administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education. 5. Reservation for women as per Circular No. BCC/16/74/1998 dated 10.03.1998 and disabled persons will be as per Circular No. Special Cell/ICC/2017-18/05 dated 13.06.2017. 6. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS),as set out in the UGC Regulations in Appendix III for direct recruitment of Principal in Colleges. Candidates already having approved API report can submit it with the application or at the time of Interview.
