Recruitment to the post of Principal/Professor/ Reader/ Senior Lecturer/Clinical Instructor for the Colleges of Nursing in West Bengal under the Health & Family Welfare Department .

Scale of Pay:For the post of Principal : Rs.28000 --Rs 52000 [Grade Pay – Rs. 7600/-]. Other allowances are admissible as per existing Government Rules. Total minimum emoluments Rs. 85740/-

Essential: M.Sc Nursing from a recognized University. Desirable: 15 years experience after M.Sc Nursing Degree of which 12 years teaching experience in NTS, or CON and SOS; Teaching experience shall be in a Nursing College

For the post of Professor: Rs.15600-- Rs 42000 [Grade Pay – Rs. 6600/-]. Other allowances are admissible as per existing Government Rules. Total minimum emoluments Rs. 53580/-

Direct Recruitment Essencial: M.Sc Nursing from a recognized University. Desirable: 10 years experience after M.Sc Nursing Degree of which 7 years teaching experience in NTS, or CON;

Lateral Recruitment Essencial: M.Sc Nursing from a recognized University, securing at least 55% marks.

Desirable: 15 years experience after M.Sc Nursing Degree of which 12 years teaching experience

For the post of Reader: Rs.15600-- Rs 42000 [Grade Pay – Rs. 6600/-]. Other allowances are admissible as per existing Government Rules. Total minimum emoluments Rs. 53580/-

Direct Recruitment Essencial: M.Sc Nursing from a recognized University and 8 years experience after acquiring M.Sc degree of which 5 years teaching experience in a NTS, or College of Nursing

Lateral Recruitment Essencial: M.Sc Nursing from a recognized University, securing at least 55% marks

Desirable: 12 years experience after M.Sc Nursing Degree of which 10 years teaching experience

For the post of Sr. Lecturer : Rs.15,600/- --- Rs.42000/-, [Grade Pay – Rs. 5400/-]. Other allowances are admissible as per existing Government Rules. Total minimum emoluments Rs. 50,700/-

Lateral Recruitment Essencial: M.Sc Nursing from a recognized University with 55% marks and 3 years experience after acquiring M.Sc Degree in a BPHC, or employment in a State Government, or Central Government, or teaching experience from NTS, or CON.

For the post of Clinical Instructor : Rs.9000/- --- Rs.40500/-, [Grade Pay – Rs. 4400/-]. Other allowances are admissible as per existing Government Rules. Total minimum emoluments Rs. 32460/

Lateral Recruitment Essencial: M.Sc or B.Sc Degree in Nursing from a recognized University, with 5 years experience under this State Government in the Cadre of West Bengal Service, or WBGS

Age :For the post of Principal : Not more than 55 years as on 01.01.2019. For the post of Professor: Not more than 58 years as on 01.01.2019.

For the post of Reader: Not more than 45 years as on 01.01.2019 (For Direct Recruitment) and not more than 55 years as on 01.01.2019 (For Lateral Recruitment).

For the post of Sr. Lecturer : Not more than 53 years as on 01.01.2019. For the post of Clinical Instructor : Not more than 50 years as on 01.01.2019.

Fee : Candidates must submit the application fee amounting to Rs. 210 (Rupees two hundred & ten) only through Banks participating in the GRPS ( Govt. Receipt Portal System ),Govt. of West Bengal under the Head of Account ‘0051-00-104-002-16’.
