Minimum prescribed educational Qualifications:
i. Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) Eight(8) years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services;
ii. OR ME /M.Tech in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent with Six(6) years’ experience in R&D in industrial and Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations and Scientific activities and services;
OR
i) Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/Pharma/MD/MS from a recognized University or equivalent; and
(ii) Four(4) years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
Desirable experience, if any:
(i) Python, Perl and/or other programming languages
(ii) Bioinformatics fundamentals
(iii) Genome scale metabolic model reconstruction and analysis
(iv) Pathogen model analysis
(v) Techniques- Constraint based Flux balance analysis, Flux variability analysis, pathway analysis, elementary mode analysis
(vi) Integration of constraints from OMICS data into metabolic models
(vii) Familiarity with Biological Databases
(viii) Softwares - ScrumPy , CobraPy
(ix) Host-Pathogen interaction Metabolism
(x) Natural language processing methods for data and text mining
(xi) Data analysis packages in R
(xii) Analytical and logical thinking
(xiii) Good Communication, Collaborative, Teamwork, Flexibility, Patience
Job requirement:
(i) Metabolic network reconstruction of host organisms and indolocarbazole pathways for metabolic engineering
(ii) Implementation of ScrumPy and CobraPy
(iii) Constraints based modelling and flux balance analysis
(iv) Pathway analysis
(v) Data integration into metabolic models
(vi) Report and article Writing
Consolidated emoluments per month (i) 49,000/- + HRA
Age Limit: 40 Years
