Principal Research Officer /
01Post 

Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in Engineering/Sciences/ Economics /Public Policy/ Management (Finance / Infrastructure/ Power Management) /Regulatory Governance or equivalent. 

Experience and Competencies: Minimum Ten years of overall experience with (i) good understanding of power sector, especially of the Electricity Act, 2003, Policies under the Act. 

(ii) minimum four years of working experience in power sector, preferably on regulatory affairs and/or generation/ transmission/distribution sector. Rs. 1,10,000/

Research Officer /01 Post

Essential Qualifications: Masters / Post Graduate degree in Engineering/Sciences/ Economics /Public Policy/ Management (Finance / Infrastructure/ Power Management) /Regulatory Governance

Experience and Competencies: Minimum of four to seven years of overall experience with (i) good understanding of power sector, especially of the Electricity Act, 2003, Policies under the Act.

(ii) minimum four years of working experience in power sector, preferably on regulatory affairs and/or generation/ transmission/distribution sector advantage. Rs. 64,000 to 85,000 per month (depending on qualification and experience) 

Research Associate-A /01Post

Essential Qualifications: Graduate degree in Engineering/Sciences/Economics /Public Policy/ Management (Finance / Infrastructure/ Power Management)/Regulatory Governance or equivalent

Experience and Competencies: Zero to three years experience in Power Sector/Regulatory work

Pay Scale : Rs. 45,000 to 59,000 per month (depending on qualification and experience) 

Research Associate-B/ 01 Post

Essential Qualifications: Graduate degree in Law / Finance/ Power Management or equivalent Experience: Zero to three years experience in handling Legal matters/Power Sector works.

Pay Scale : Rs. 45,000 to 59,000 per month (depending on qualification and experience)

Research Officer (Law) /02 Posts

Experience: Minimum Four to Seven years experience in drafting petitions, replies, rejoinders, written submissions, appearance before High Courts, District Courts, quasi-judicial forums, etc. after completion of graduation in law from a reputed college. Desirable: Experience in working in regulatory sector or electricity sector.

Pay Scale: Rs. 64,000/- to Rs. 85,000/- per month depending on qualifications and experience. 

Research Associate (Law) /01Post

Qualifications: Graduate/ Diploma holders in Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:  Post qualification experience of zero to three years (more than six years for Diploma holders) in the field of power sector in hydro or thermal generation or transmission or power system planning and load flow studies. Should be fully conversant with the power plants and its auxiliaries or the transmission system. Desirable:  Experience in tariff determination in the Regulatory set up in Power Sector or operation and maintenance of Power Stations and/or transmission system and power system/load flow studies preferably related to point of connection charges and losses. 

Preference will be given to candidates with qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Pay Scale: Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 59,000 per month depending on qualifications and experience

Senior Research Officer (Power Market) /01 Post

Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Economics or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with MBA from recognized Institutes/Universities. 

Experience and Competencies: Minimum eight to ten years experience in power sector. Ability to undertake independently, strategic studies in the power sector. Knowledge of working of power markets/ power sector issues such as open access, tariff setting, competitive bidding, will be preferred. Rs. 94,000 to 1,03,000 per month (depending on qualification and experience)

Research Officer (Economics)
/01Post 

Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Economics or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with MBA from recognized Institutes/Universities. 

Experience & Competencies: Minimum of four to seven years experience in the power sector/regulatory bodies/Research Institutes. Person with regulatory work with the exposure to economic analysis would be given preference. Rs. 64,000 to 85,000 per month (depending on qualification and experience)
