Essential Qualification & Experience
- Candidates should have completed M. Sc. (Tech) in Photonics / Applied Optics / Optical Engineering qualification.
Age Limit
- 25 Years
- The upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC (NCL) candidates by 3 years and for ST candidates by 5 years.
Consolidated Salary
- Pay Scale Rs. 40,000 -3%-1,40,000 at the time of joining. In addition to Basic pay, other allowances like Dearness allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of the Basic Pay as Perquisites Performance Related Pay (PRP)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Candidate is required for the following design and development activities:
1. Design, simulation and analysis of Optical Sub Systems for
a. Electro-optical sensors
b. Laser Systems
c. Fiber optic sensors
2. Development of Products & Systems
a. Assembly of Optics, Optomechanical Assemblies & Systems
b. Testing of Optical components, Modules & Systems
3. Evolving new processes for Alignment, Assembly & Testing
4. Documentation
5. Activities towards the life cycle support for Products developed
MODE OF SELECTION
- Selection will be through a written test followed by interview of only those candidates who qualify the written test in the ratio of 1:5.
- Written Test will consist of objective type questions for 150 marks from Technical
General Aptitude.
- General /OBC/EWS candidates shall secure 35% as qualifying marks and ST/PWBD candidates shall secure 30% as qualifying marks in written test. SC candidates will be considered on par with UR Criteria
- Call letters will be sent to the e-mail IDs of eligible candidates for attending the written test BEL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidate.
- Date, time and centre details of the written test will be intimated by e-mail in due course.
