l OS / Application / Storage / Network Management – Administration, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Patching etc.
l Active Directory and Domain Administration
l Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems
l Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system
l Performing routine audits of systems and software
l Clustering Physcial Server, Virtual Servers for High Availability
l Storage Maintenance, Firmware upgradation
l Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing environments
l Monitor System Performance and perform System Performance Tuning.
l Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
l Create / Manage / Maintain the Backup & Restore Policy and Archive & Retrieve Policy
l Regular backup based on the backup policy, restoration, testing backup etc.
l Monitor network communication and ensure that the network infrastructure is up and running
l Implement the policies for the use of the computer system and network
l Setup security policies for users.
l HIS - Front office module, PACS user support
l Database Management - Installation / Reinstallation, Patching, Upgradation and reconfigurations as per the requirements.
l Database Maintenance – Regular Backups as per the policy, Database Integrity checks, Review Error logs, Trial Recoveries of backups, Job failure alerts, Shortage of size alerts, sizing files, create shell scripts for task automation, Restore and recover corrupted databases etc.
l Evaluation of new technology and implement to improve Data Security , Stability and better management
l Motivate Support team to improve IT process & for user IT adaption
