Performs basic relief valve sizing basis calculations unassisted.
Assists on other tasks such as preparing mitigation documentation with senior staff assistance, setting up standalone calculations within iPRSM, and assisting with special projects as assigned.
Has a thorough understanding of iPRSM functions and features.
Develops a broader understanding of code and recommended practices governing calculations associated with relief devices, tank vents, and associated equipment.
Performs limited oversight of others' work in iPRSM as directed by senior staff including equipment inputs into iPRSM and CAD drawing reviews.
Receives close supervision on unusual or advanced system calculations. Audit comments received on calculations performed should be minimal for basic systems.
Must have good communication skills and be a team player. Must understand direction given from senior personnel and be able to provide general direction to others.
Member of professional organization desired.
Gains knowledge and skills for passing the PE examination desired.
Performs technical surveillance of a semi-routine nature in the control of product, design concepts, software and specification requirements.
Reviews and evaluates a variety of routine and semi-routine in-process rejections and trends implementing corrective action as needed. Interfaces with customers, vendors and all company departments to resolve technical and quality problems.
Investigates and analyzes a variety of technical manufacturing and customer issues providing technical assistance in establishing procedures and methods. Reviews and evaluates complex in-process rejections and trends implementing corrective action as needed.
Defines, interprets and develops quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements
Performs various analysis, design and/or assembly related to product design, manufacturing, software or hardware engineering projects.
