Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Finding out vendors/suppliers of various system components at various places
2. Understanding the technical specifications of the system components as per bill of material
3. Evaluating vendors and comparing their strengths and weaknesses
4. Taking project-specific quotations from the vendors under required technical specifications
5. Negotiating with vendors about pricing, after-sales services, terms and conditions and closing the purchase orders
6. Placing purchase orders to corresponding vendors/suppliers as per the bill of materials. arranging logistics for delivery of material on-site in designated time as per project planning
7. Getting E way bills prepared from accounts team prior to delivery
8. Directing the engineers, technicians, and labors for making necessary arrangement for delivery of material
9. Daily reporting the orders placed and material delivery, planning for the next day and the week ahead
10. Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
11. Coordinating with the vendors about timely GST returns
