Procurement A ssociate to join the Procurement Operations team within our Finance division. Your job will be integral to the procurement lifecycle at  athena  as you will be responsible for requisition compliance, PO creation, supplier registration, maintenance of records within our ERP/P2P tools, internal supplier due diligence, annual supplier monitoring, and contract management But enough about us; let’s talk about you.  

You  are  lasered focused on dotting I’s and crossing T’s. You’re adaptable, results-oriented, and great at engaging with internal and external stakeholders. You like to manage tasks and want to deliver results on time. You are comfortable managing up and have strong written and verbal communication skills.  

The Team:   The Procurement Operations teams serves as the front line with internal and external stakeholders and supports many critical tasks in the procurement lifecycle at athenahealth.  

Job Responsibilities
  • Review and confirm purchase requisitions are in compliance with SOP  
  • Convert approved purchase requisitions to purchase orders  
  • Collect, evaluate, and input supplier registration documents into ERP/P2P tools   
  • Lead the collection of data for the annual supplier monitoring program

Typical Qualifications  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance and/or Business preferred
  • 4-5 years in supporting a procurement function
  • Experience with Microsoft Tools  
  • Knowledge of U.S. tax classifications
