Job Description

Primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the Procurement Center of Expertise and lead specific programs within Procurement COE purview focused on
  • Lead Direct and Indirect Material sourcing excellence programs for APAC
  • Lead Procurement finance and analytics expertise to develop new business models for sourcing Build supplier integration models to ensure supply chain visibility
  • Lead procurement analytics to enable the sourcing organisation to take fact based decision making
  • Lead supply chain analytics to identify value opportunities in the end to end supply chain network and to engage with external partners to execute solutions to enable the savings.
The role will require strong collaboration within the Procurement Team both regionally and globally, as well as integrating cross functionally within the Global Supply Chain Team.

Organisation: People Responsibilities / Reporting Line / Partnerships:
  • The incumbent reports to the Procurement COE and Sourcing Innovation Leader - APAC.
  • The role will have one direct report.
  • The position will manage functional teams supporting the delivery of APAC and global programs
  • Responsible for executing projects with large potential impact to business results and developing structure, sourcing skills capability practices and talent across the APAC procurement organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Incumbent will lead developing financial and analytical models to enhance sourcing decisions.
  • Responsible for Providing detailed visibility to potential supply chain problems and solutions within the extended supply chain that has impact to business results.
  • Develop capability and structures in the analytics workstream in collaboration with global procurement analytics team.
  • Incumbent will influence senior regional leadership to drive change and deliver improved business results using analytics data and solutions. Collaborate with Supply Chain Leaders, External Vendors and adjacent business functions to implement the solutions in end to end supply chain.
  • Enable regional category managers to use analytics and financial modelling details to drive engagement with suppliers
  • Plans out and executes programs to realize best in class performance as a Procurement function.
Essential Knowledge / Expertise
  • Knowledge in and experience with Procurement processes and systems from sourcing to supplier payment
  • Understanding and experience in building business cases utilizing financial modelling
  • Experience in analytics solutions and models
  • Strong leadership capability, demonstrating ability to develop and deploy strategy through detailed action plans
  • Continuous improvement experience and mindset
  • Extensive Stakeholder Management experience across diverse styles and cultures
  • Savvy business acumen, executive presence, presentation and facilitation skills
Critical Skills/ Qualifications
  • Finance experience in understanding and building business models
  • Analytics experience in using analytical modelling and tools.
  • Procurement and supply chain experience and ability to evaluate solutions across end to end supply chain
  • Demonstrated leadership skill and experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills
  • Cross-functional knowledge throughout the supply chain
  • Able to lead and manage with ambiguity and autonomy
  • Ability to question and challenge assumptions; challenging existing practices to drive improvement; ability to observe existing business practice, to inform new practices and refine
  • Consistent track record of delivering results while creating/maintaining a continuous improvement culture.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization driving collaboration across businesses and functions
Qualification
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in Finance and Procurement experience will be a preferred add.
  • Intermediate or higher level of Data analytics skills
  • Leadership skills and ability to independently/ interdependently
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Good understanding of financial metrics (i.e., Working Capital, Cost Avoidance, NSV, DPO, etc.)
  • Exposure to regional / global scope of work is beneficial

  • Location: India
  • Geographical coverage : APAC
  • Travel up to 20% of the time
  • Spend coverage, approx. USD 1 Billion
