Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conceptualization: Collaborate on design concepts aligning with project goals
2. Visualization: Create detailed sketches and 3D models using CAD tools
3. Prototyping: Develop and refine physical prototypes for design validation
4. Communication: Effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams
5. Trend awareness: Stay updated on design trends and embrace evolving technologies
6. Portfolio management: Maintain a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects
7. Project execution: Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs
8. User-centered design: Advocate for user-centered design principles and conduct usability testing
9. Continuous learning: Stay informed about advancements in design software and tools
10. Adaptability: Demonstrate adaptability to changing design trends and technologies
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or pursuing one in industrial design, product design, or a related field
2. Proven experience as a product designer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects
3. Proficiency in design software, including CAD tools for 3D modeling
4. Strong sketching and rendering skills
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred skills:
1. Familiarity with the latest trends in design across various product categories
2. Experience in prototyping and model-making
3. Adaptive mindset to embrace evolving design trends and technologies
