About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Performing market research to understand market requirements for new product development
2. Identifying the needs of the company and integrating market research to determine the needs and goals of new products
3. Conceptualizing new product ideas by using CAD software to design prototypes.
4. Fabricating prototypes for testing
5. Testing products throughout the design process to troubleshoot any potential problems
6. Sampling different materials, manufacturing processes, design tolerances, and other factors to find the best ones that suit the new product brief
7. Fine-tuning designs until they are ready for production
8. Delivering product specifications and procedures to the manufacturing team for production purposes
9. Analyzing existing products to identify areas for improvement and updating current documentation
10. Developing quality control criteria and safety guidelines and ensuring that all team members adhere to them

Other requirements

1. Education: B. Tech/B.E. M.Tech/M.E would be an added advantage

2. Experience: 1 month-1 year experience as a product development engineer

3. Experience with 3D modeling software and report writing programs

4. Strong communication and teamwork skills

5. Excellent math, creativity, and problem-solving skills
