The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including the definition of the opportunity, defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with the development team to achieve client satisfaction goals.
Job Responsibilities
Manage MedEmage, MedEDocs and MedEIR product lines, including product vision, strategy and planning, product requirements definition and documentation, and product release schedule Interact with clients and prospects' to identify needs and major competitors in order to synthesize product requirements; Utilize market/ client/ industry research and analysis to develop and maintain a long- range product road map Perform strategic planning and effectively coordinate/ communicate product strategy Facilitate business process changes as required to improve organizational and product line performance Optimize product line profitability through pricing, margin analysis and production efficiency recommendations Participate in Product Management plan reviews to help develop best practices Regularly interact with industry leaders and the learning community in order to stay abreast of industry changes Up to 50% travel required Skills and abilities Ability to establish priorities while balancing complex technical and business requirements Ability to make timely decisions and produce results through the effective implementation Ability to work with changing needs and existing market challenges Exceptional communications skills and proven ability to influence throughout an organization Demonstrated ability to drive results and to work effectively across multiple groups Sound business judgment and knowledge of financial issues impacting product profitability Excellent listening skills and a commitment to communicate clearly, completely, and in a timely manner Exceptional skills in partnering with clients and staff and in developing and maintaining long term supportive relationships Ability to identify barriers to progress and propose solutions Candidates should possess an MBA along with proven product management experience of at least three or more years. Strong understanding of product management lifecycle and business processes is required.
