Description

Role and Responsibilities

Identify needs and design and document product requirements to drive growth of the Qualys Web Application Security product line
Work with engineering teams to prioritize and release new features and enhancements in a timely manner for the benefit of customers
Understand the functionality, capabilities, and workflows of the Qualys Web Application Scanning product and articulate it to others
Work with Qualys account managers and solution architects in the field to understand customer issues and develop suitable responses to ensure success
Provide guidance to engineering teams around prioritizing and resolving product issues
Train sales teams and provide resources & tools to help close business
Perform market research and competitive analysis to help define near and long-term product roadmaps
Meet directly with customers, new prospects, analysts, and partners to gain market insights and evangelize the company's product offerings
Assist with successful launch and positioning of new products into the marketplace
Measure and track key business & financial metrics

Requirements

2+ years of proven product management experience and 4+ years' experience in the application security space
Broad knowledge in the area of web application security and API security (OWASP projects, DAST/SAST/SCA/IAST tools, JavaScript frameworks, Swagger/OpenAPI, modern DevOps processes, pen testing tools, etc.)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience working closely with engineering and software development teams
Skilled at organizing and managing numerous, concurrent tasks and priorities
BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or Marketing preferred
Experience and comfort with public speaking
Travel up to 25%
