Job Description

Glynk's Product Marketing Management role offers a unique opportunity to help define and amplify the Glynk story and connect our products with customers.

At Glynk, we believe there is a better way for brands to engage with their customers. A more valuable, less invasive way where customers have intrinsic motivation to engage with the brand. We're obsessively passionate about it, and our mission is to help brands achieve it. We focus on building delightful community experiences. It's one of the most underrated aspects of building private communities, and we see that as an opportunity. We're excited to simplify brand communities for everyone through our software, education, and community.

Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to generate customer insights that inform Glynk's product strategy, lead go-to-market for our suite of products, and create and execute campaigns to drive product growth. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Glynk, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, and Design to name a few. Different from many other Product Marketing teams, our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post-launch. We are looking for a creative, analytical, collaborative product marketer to join our team.

Who should NOT apply?

  • Looking for comfort rather than growth.
  • You don’t think setting up tools, processes and building a team is interesting.
  • Not looking to be hands-on.

You should apply if you are:

  • A storyteller. You have deep empathy for people and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience—from Community Manager to CEO— and differentiate Glynk. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Data-oriented. Be extremely objective. Shed all biases and pre-conceived notions. Understand conclusion is the last step of learning. Data drives all the decisions. Where there is no data, get some data.
  • Pro-active: Planned. Organized. Disciplined. You can never sit idle or clueless nor can have anyone else do the same.
  • Passionate about community. You are keen to learn about how things work and are able to explain concepts in ways that even 8-year olds can understand.
  • A team player. Product Marketers collaborate basically with every team at Glynk. You are able to work with a range of disciplines to execute on your work
  • Ambitious. Dream big and chase them all. You understand 70% of the solution lies in getting to the bottom of the problem. You then break down complex problems into many simpler problems.
  • Stick to big picture while executing at the lowest levels. Understand that anything can go wrong until you prove it to be right.

You must be a Dreamer. Thinker. Doer. Solver. Seller. Creator. Leader.

Your responsibilities

  • Advocate for our existing and prospective customers, be informed about our competitive landscape, and become the go-to expert to help shape the product roadmap and strategy.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging informed by user research, market insights, and product understanding. Work closely with a range of cross-functional teams—product managers, sales, design, PR, and engineering—to develop go-to-market strategy and drive launches for our products
  • Help enable user-facing teams at Glynk —Founders, Sales and Product teams to set pricing that aligns to the product value proposition and with our customer’s success.
  • Marketing teams to track the right metrics and execute campaigns that drive awareness and adoption on an ongoing basis.

Qualification
